The Water Pump Thermostat Housing Assembly is a must-have for anyone experiencing cooling system issues. Its robust design and high-quality materials ensure long-lasting performance, and the peace of mind it provides is invaluable.
Was hesitant about getting this as it was cheap compared to the official part, but it works fine ! I won't lie, it's a faff & a fiddle to fit it. Make sure you take photos as you remove old unit, as there's lots to remove to get to it ! When refilling system, drain tap closed again (!), turn A/C off, heater on full, header tank cap off/open, and run engine until hot, topping up as you go - otherwise you will get airlocks.... Temperature control is now absolutely fine though, and saved a lot ! Prior to fitting, rad fan was running flat out even on a cool day, engine was running hot on gauge, but rad hoses were only lukewarm to the touch
This water pump and thermostat housing fit my 2012 Scirocco perfectly. My car is running cooler now, and installation was straightforward. Quality is excellent, and its definitely worth it if your original part is failing.
Good quality water pump and thermostat housing for my 2016 Scirocco. The fit was perfect, and it solved the overheating issue I was having. The only downside was that the packaging couldve been better, but the part itself was undamaged and works great.
Arrived quickly with no damage. Perfect!
